Ett annat band som är ganska rosa är Le Tigre. Fast dom känns ju mer punkrosa än tuggummirosa. Hur som helst, Kathleen Hanna är en annan sån där tjej som det känns som om det inte var helt fel att stöta på när man var tonåring. Vem vet hur man hade varit utan henne. Hela Riot grrrl-rörelsen var så extremt befriande färgstark att man ju typ aldrig varit så nöjd med att vara tjej som när man kom i kontakt med den. Och Kathleen Hanna var ju drottningen. Skulle vilja att alla tonårstjejer fick lite Kathleen Hanna-injektioner istället för lyckopiller när dom kommer till kuratorer och psykologer. Skulle inte vara helt fel tror jag.
Jag lyssnade (och lyssnar) en hel del på hennes tidigare band Bikini Kill, men det var inte förrän Le Tigre debuterade som jag föll handlöst musikaliskt. Dom var bara alla rätt. Och rosa. Förstås.
